EMT COURSE (IN-PERSON)

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course & Certification Program

Idaho Medical Academy’s EMT course is designed for those who learn best in the traditional classroom setting. You will attend class twice a week (1 lecture day, 1 skills day). Each skills day will count towards completing your psychomotor portion of the NREMT exam. This course offers classroom lectures, lab days, clinical field experiences and study groups opportunities.

Self-Paced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course Online & Certification

Idaho Medical Academy’s Self-paced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course Online is designed to allow you to earn your EMT certification at your own pace.

The hands-on skills and psychomotor training will conclude your EMT course after all online material is completed. This portion of your course takes place over four days. IMA ensures that during your hands-on skills lab week you will be training with experienced, providers.

AEMT COURSE

Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Course and Certificate Program

Idaho Medical Academy’s Advanced EMT course is designed for those who learn best in the traditional classroom setting, this course offers classroom lectures, lab days, clinical field experiences and study groups opportunities towards your ACLS certifications.

NREMT Test Prep

The Basic IV therapy course is designed to provide basic conceptual and operational knowledge to become familiar with IV placement and fluid therapy. This class supports healthcare professionals expand their skill set with IV therapy placement techniques and basic IV fluid therapy concepts or healthcare professionals who need IV therapy techniques refresher training.

Physical Fitness/CPAT Prep

The Fire Academy Recruit Program is the premier program available to assist the aspiring firefighter prepare for a career in the fire service.

Before somebody can even be considered and receive a job offer for the fire department, most will have to pass a rigorous physical agility test that will disqualify many good candidates.
