CPR & AHA Courses

CPR/AED and First Aid Classes

Intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire to learn the skills of CPR/AED and/or First Aid. Great for teachers, parents, response teams in business and industry, group leaders, students, and more!

Basic Life Support (BLS) Classes

Teaches participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED
Intended for in-facility and prehospital healthcare providers including nurses, physicians, EMT’s, and professional rescuers.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Classes

Designed for healthcare providers that need ACLS for their clinical duties. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). Intended for physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and others as required by their employer.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Classes

This course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.

Intended for: healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.

American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor Courses

Becoming an American Heart Association instructor is easy after consulting with an American Heart Association Training Center to find out whether the Training Center (TC) is accepting new instructors.
