This self-paced EMT course is designed for the busy student who would like to set their own days and hours of learning from home. Our course offers students a user-friendly online learning platform along with a dedicated remote instructor for all of your questions or needs. The self-paced EMT course provides our students with the same education and certification as our in-person course but with the flexibility to pick when you want to complete your coursework and finish your course.
After all online material is completed, we provide an in-person 20-hour skills week at our in-person campus, where students have time to learn from experienced EMS staff, ask questions, and become comfortable with all course material and skills.
Students must complete the online course and skills week in order to register and test for your NREMT. Get started on your journey to becoming an EMT today, and sign up for one of our self-paced online courses.
Take your time with our self-paced course where you are in charge! Students typically take 3-4 months (100-120 hours) to complete our EMT online material.
Plan your skills week during registration. Students must complete all online material before coming in to pass off their skills.
After passing your test, you may seek options for state licensure to pursue your career in the field as an EMT, Firefighter, or Healthcare worker!
Self-paced courses are a maximum of one year and a minimum of 30 days. It is recommended to allow 3 to 4 months to complete the online portion of the course
Our tuition is $1530 with add-on options available to customize your learning.
Option 1: Complete payment during online registration.
Option 2: Tuition payment plans. Half of the total tuition must be paid prior to the start date of the registered course. The remaining balance can be split into three additional separate payments. A 10% fee is applied to the remaining unpaid tuition balance at the start of class.
In order to be eligible to earn a NREMT/State EMT certification each student needs to hold a high school diploma or GED, and pass a background check.
Included in the course you will also need to hold a current Healthcare provider CPR certificate, complete Hazardous Materials First Responder Awareness, Landing Zone Officer, and Extrication Awareness Certifications.
